How to sew an open back tank top to wear to the gym

Hey y’all, today we’re going to learn how to make a crossback workout tank. And while I call this a workout tank because I can’t think of any other setting when I would wear hot pink burnout knit, you could honestly make this for casual non gym wear if you wear a pretty bralette or t-shirt under it.

Basically, this is an adult version of my Criss Cross Pinafore. Though I haven’t made it in a woven fabric, I guess you could try, and if you do let us know how it goes!

Since this top was made for sweating, I also think it’s going to be perfect for Texas summers.

Want to make your own? All you need is knit fabric and thread plus your sewing machine that can sew a stretch stitch.
