The Quilted Camera Bag – my final entry for Sewvivor last spring – is finally done and available! I know, I know, it took me a long time, but now you can make your own, using the Quilted Camera Bag Pattern.
And let me tell you – this bag has now been to Salt Lake City (twice!) and Seattle, and has protected my laptop and camera admirably. As well as stored various travel items – you know, boarding passes, etc. I also added a shoulder pad to it after two trips, to make it more comfortable to carry through the airport.
This bag is fully padded on all 4 sides with 1/2″ foam, has removable and re-arrangeable 1/2″ foam dividers inside, and can accommodate my camera body with lens, my 13″ laptop, and two extra lenses with room for another lens or camera body if I made another divider.
The flap includes the design and instructions for quilting the camera graphic on it, though this is of course optional.
The strap is adjustable so the bag can be worn on the shoulder or cross body. There are also 2 gusseted outside pockets with buttons, a recessed zipper, an inside zip pocket and an outside zip pocket. Phew.
Purchase your own copy of this pattern here – you have just enough time to make one before Christmas for the camera lover in your life!
