Today (and for the rest of the week) I’m going to be introducing my fall pdf sewing pattern collection to you: Graphic.
The first pattern was introduced yesterday as part of the Alphabet Collection – see yesterday’s post to check out my W pants.
Today’s pattern is the first available in my shop individually, and it’s the Tee Times 3.
There are several very good basic t-shirt patterns out there, so I didn’t want to repeat what you can already buy. But I couldn’t find a Peter Pan collar t-shirt, and there’s definitely not one that I could find that has all three of these necklines plus two sleeve lengths all in one place.
With the Tee Times Three you get the options of a traditional ribbed neckline, a hooded shirt with or without the kangaroo pocket, and a girly Peter Pan collared t-shirt, all in one pattern in sizes 18m-8.
I got this awesome graphic houndstooth knit print at the Michael Levine loft when I went to LA Fabric Weekend. This print and the print on the dress you’ll see tomorrow inspired the name for this collection. Tater is sporting his tee with the traditional neckline and a pair of W Pants.
Meanwhile Bean has been asking for a hood, so now he’s got one that’s still OK to wear in the Texas summer heat.
And their good friend is sporting the Peter Pan collar on hers.
This gorgeous photo is Suzanne’s tester version – love the red/green contrast.
And tester Karly added piping to her Peter Pan collar, and a great shot of the keyhole in the back that accompanies this neckline in the pattern.
Thanks to all the testers who helped with this pattern. Want your own? It’s available HERE

I love the hooded version. Can this be made with a heavier material for colder climates? If so I will be making so many of these for the upcoming football season!
(I’m pretty jealous of the girl version. I want one for myself!)

I haven’t tried heavier fabric – it would depend on how much the fabric stretched. You need at least 75% stretch for the neckline on that shirt.

I think a heavier material would work great – I think one of the testers did thermal. If you go up to a fleece or a sweatshirt material, just watch your stretch. This is a a slightly more fitted style, so you may want to size up if the fabric doesn’t have as much stretch.

Love this pattern Melissa!

Thanks for the shout out… I love seeing my pictures on your blog ;o) And I loved testing this (even if I had a brain fart on the first one I made ;op)

That’s a great shirt. I love the hooded version too. My little guy loves hoods so it would be a win here.
