Second place – thanks to those of you that voted!

When I entered my camera bag in this contest on a whim, I never thought I’d 1)be invited to compete or 2) Make it to the finals! So thank you to everyone that helped me get here.
For this week’s entry I actually did a sewing project (even though I write a blog with “sews” in the title, none of my projects on here have been sewing, go figure!). This is a couture dress I’ve made for myself to wear to a wedding. The dress is my own design, with a fully boned bodice and underskirt to which the pleated fabric was attached, mostly with hand sewing to maintain maximum movement of the pleated fabric without the top falling down.
