The pattern for this blazer is available for purchase HERE
I finished altering the pattern I made from this blazer to make a blazer Tater’s size.
I used some old stretch twill-ish fabric that had faded badly when I washed it (that’s what I get for buying Wal-mart clearance fabric) and the last of the nap mat fabric for the lining to make this one, in case I totally messed up. But it turned out really cute, I think.
I’m working on turning this into a PDF pattern for purchase and I need sample sewers to help me refine it. It will be in sizes 18 months, 2T, 3T and 4T, so if you have 1) a little guy (or gal!) who needs a blazer, 2) a blog, and 3) a camera that takes decent photos, either leave a comment (with your e-mail) or e-mail me (mellysews at gmail dot com) to let me know you’re interested in being a sample sewer for me. I’ll send you a free pattern and eternal gratitude.

Ohmygosh! SO cute!! I have a daughter that would love a blazer (I also have friends with boys who live nearby and would look darling in blazers and that I would sew a blazer for). I also have a blog and a decent camera. 🙂 emmillee(AT)gmail(dot)com

I would love to be a sample sewer for this beautiful blazer! Even though I have little girl (2,5 years old). Could be very cute to sew a little sporty blazer for her and combine it with a girly skirt. I have a camera and a blog, too 🙂

Very cute! I like the faded fabric for the blazer. I would love to test sew for you if you are still needing someone. My son is a 4t but I could also get a model for an 18 mo or 2t size. You can check out my sewing on my blog or my flickr. (flickr http://m.flickr.com/#/photos/[email protected]/5838061018/ I hope that worked. I am on my phone. Otherwise my name on flickr is perfection not included .)
Thanks!

If you added a cute cuff and shorter sleeves it would be darling for a girl. Just match the sleeve cuff to the cute girly lining and a girl could easily wear that. How about a 3/4 sleeve? I don’t have any little ones, but love your sewing.

Awesome jacket. I’d love to test your pattern. My little boy wears 18Month size.I think I could help making the instructions easier to understand for non-english-speakers like me 🙂
I’ve tested patterns before for “Dear my kids”, “Little Lizard king” and “I think sew”.

Oh! I forgot! I could also test in a girly version for a size 5T for my daughter. I think that using the right fabric could make a very nice girly blazier, no need to make more changes to the pattern.
