Today I want to share some of the fabulous clothes my wonderful testers made while I was testing the Summer Vibe Patterns.
First there are these Big Island Board Shorts sewn by Suzanne of Winter Wonderings, Wanderings and Whatnot. I just love the green field in this photo!
And then Haley of Welcome to the Mouse House made both the Big Island Board Shorts and the Retro Romper
My friend Alida from Alida Makes did a Retro Romper too – and has a tutorial on how to add a button placket to it like she did.
And how cute are Jessica’s son’s chubby feet in his Big Island Board Shorts over on If Only They Would Nap?
But then Caila of Caila Made shows how cool these board shorts can be for bigger boys. Bonus: a colorblocking tutorial.
How about this girl version of the Baja Hoody by Call Ajaire? Love that handmade bias tape detail.
And one more very cute version of the Retro Romper – this one of a woven fabric, again with handmade bias tape by Veronica of sewVery.
And last but certainly not least, Sewing Mama RaeAnna made these Big Island Board Shorts – then added a matching t-shirt!
What a great group of testers! If you sew a Blank Slate Pattern you’d like considered for future round ups, be sure to add it to my Flickr group.

lol! I just now realized my typo in the picture 🙁 – That’s what I get for staying up late and not thinking! I’ll make sure to put “Blank Slate Patterns” next time! 🙂 I can’t wait to make another pair! I’m going to order some proper board short fabric for the next sew!
