I designed this Sketchy Stars fabric at Spoonflower to use for this shirt. This was a much more complicated design than my Simple Bicycles, since I had to make sure the stars repeated in the way I wanted them to without weird tiling lines.
I used my Vintage V-Neck pattern in a size 3, since Bean is right between sizes 2 and 3 right now. Room to grow. I was able to cut this out of just a fat quarter of fabric. You could easily do the same with sizes 18m-2T, but as you can see in the picture, 3T is the max you can go on this fabric out of a fat quarter.

I had a grand plan to have Bean do his photos in the same area where sister-in-law and I shot the pictures for the Easy T-shirt Skirts, but this is the best shot I got of him.

Cute! I love the fabric choices.

Might I ask which type of fabric you used? I assumed knit, but went to order some and that isn’t an option (unless I’m missing it somehow?). Thanks!

Failed photo shoot? Always. I am luck if I can get a good photo of my clothes. I am naturally bad at photography and my kids do not like doing them. So, my blog’s biggest weakness is the photos.
