Tater somehow ran out of clean pajamas this week (we solved the mystery today – some of his got put in Bean’s room by accident) and so as I try to destash some of my fabric (have you seen this post where you can see how much I have?) I told Tater to go pick some fabric out and I would make him some new pajamas.
He chose fireman knit for the shirt and navy blue flannel that used to be his nap blanket for the pants. They don’t really match, but who cares for sleeping? Also, I was glad he wanted flannel pants, because there wasn’t enough of the knit left to make pants. He loved them so much he wore them all day long. I had to bribe him into clothes for his play date.
I used the Kid Pants pattern by Made and my own t-shirt pattern, and I decided to time myself making them. With the serger going like mad, from start of cutting them out to putting them on Tater was one hour. That machine is fast!
Hope you’ve had a great weekend; I have some cool stuff in store this week for my Project Run and Play signature look that I can’t wait to show off. But right about now, I need to do this
