So, I made the Hipster Henley out of this awesome mustard striped rib knit with pops of teal like I planned. I had Tater try it on, and he loved it, and proceeded to ask if it could be pajamas. Well, why not? I had just enough left over fabric to make a modified (I lengthened and added cuffs) version of the Go To Leggings pattern I had since this guy prefers long john style pajamas.
I think they’re a tad short, even with my lengthening, so the pants will probably go to Bean. But not before a matching PJs photo shoot involving jumping on the bed.
So, after day 5, my list looks like this:
For Tater:
- Tigger costume (procrastinating)
- 3 long sleeve Raglan t-shirts
- 1 long sleeve Hipster Henley
- 1 New pattern that I’m not talking about yet
For Bean
- Raincoat (will blog tomorrow)
- 1 long sleeve Raglan t-shirt
- 1 Cool Cardigan
I am resolved to get over my procrastination about the Tigger costume tomorrow, so that I can finally move on to sewing the samples for my Blank Slates Holiday collection. Whoops, did I just let that slip? Yup, that’s part of what I’m working on. That and a final pattern for the Hipster collection I’m doing with Lil Blue Boo. Sneak peeks coming up later this month.

Oh my goodness I totally want to spread that kid on a cracker. He’s so cute!! Love the pjs; love the expression on his little face – just awesome. I also am so in love with the hipster henley pattern – I haven’t caved and bought it yet, because I still need to work my way through the blank slate basics patterns (WHEEEE BY THE WAY SO EXCITED) but it’s NEXT on the list. I love it, and I can’t wait to see what you do next.
Thanks for so much inspiration!!

These are so stinking cute (and so is the kid!) I am excited to see what you have planned for the blank slate holiday. I was secretly hoping that it would be blank slate moms edition! (hint hint)
