Since I have yet to finish this year’s Halloween costumes for the boys, I thought I’d share what they’ve worn in the past.
For his 1 year old Halloween, Tater was Yoda.
The original plan that year was to have Hubby dress like Hans Solo and me do Princess Leia, but I was in the first trimester of carrying Bean, and sicker than sick. Tater’s lucky he got a costume; I spent most days after work begging my mom to come take care of dinner for Tater while I laid on the couch.
I made him the robe out of knit interlock, then found just the right shade of stretchy polyester and made a bonnet. Then I sewed ears, and sewed wire into the edges of them to make sure they stood up. He just wore his own clothes under the robe – I had fabric to make the pants & tunic, but like I said, I was S I C K.
Apparently, I also wasn’t up to taking pictures, because I could only find 3.
But, I don’t think there’s much more adorable than a Yoda-sized person dressed as Yoda.
