Hi all. Remember a while back I wrote about the She’s Worth It project? Well, fundraising has kind of stalled, so Andrea of GoTo Patterns has released a new pattern, and all proceeds from it go to the charity until it’s fully funded. The new pattern is a super quick and simple sew for a women’s top or dress – the Casual Lady.
Mine literally took about 45 minutes, including printing and taping – it was so easy! And so cute! I can see me making several more of these – and it comes in a dress length too!
So you must go buy one. As an added incentive, and because I believe in this cause, I am donating ALL PROCEEDS FROM ANY BLANK SLATE PATTERNS SOLD THROUGH GOTO PATTERNS TODAY. Usually, I’d tell you to buy any pattern you’re interested in straight from the designer if you can, to ensure that they’re getting 100% of your money. When you buy through other shops, the designer is getting a cut, but not the full percentage (and the cut varies by shop). But today I’m telling you, buy my stuff from GoTo Patterns today. I’ll see 0% of the money you spend there today, but I’m overjoyed that I am in a position from which I can do this, because I am blessed that I don’t have to worry about where I will get money to feed my children tomorrow. I am blessed that my children aren’t in danger of being forced into slave labor or sexually trafficked. And the women and children this charity is supporting can’t say that. So please, get a pattern and support a good cause.
And if that wasn’t enough of a reason, Peek-a-boo Pattern Shop and The Sewing Loft patterns will also be sold through GoTo patterns with proceeds for a day donated to She’s Worth It.
If you’d prefer to just donate you can also do that here.

It looks so great on you! And the color is perfect. Mine is on the sewing table waiting for nap 🙂

Just bought the pattern. Good cause. Best of luck in raising funds and awareness.
