Hey y’all. Today I want to talk more about my latest pattern, the Bookworm Button Up, and share some tester photos. We had an AWESOME group of testers for the latest Pattern Anthology collection, and I love seeing all the versions of the pattern they made – they really maxed out the options included in this pattern.
And this pattern does come with a ton of options. In fact, I think this may be the longest instructional tutorial I’ve ever written because of all the options. For boys there are views A & B, with options for straight or shirttail hems and pleated or rectangular pockets in two locations.
And for girls there is the option of a high-low hem with a deep pleat or a crossback, and there are bow pockets and bow sleeves.
But enough about the line drawings – what do these shirts look like sewn up? Well, take a look at all these AMAZING tester photos.

Oh my gosh, Melissa, you have knocked it out of the park. This is such a great pattern. Can’t even stand the cuteness of the bow version! Congratulations!

Love the versatility of this pattern. Unfortunately, my grandchildren are getting too grown! They need size 10/12, minimum.

I knew i wanted this pattern, i wasn’t sure I needed it until I saw the tester photos! That cross-back is ADORABLE. I love the little girl versions a lot (which is saying something because I’m so into revolutionary boy stuff lol )
