One of the things I really wanted to achieve when I wrote Sundressing was to give people the freedom to customize their creations to fit both their taste and their bodies. And that means that if you see a women’s dress you’d like for a girl or a girl’s dress you’d like for yourself, it’s easy peasy to switch bodice blocks and modify the pattern in the book, just like my friend Miranda did today! In case you don’t recognize it, this is the Bellevue dress that Dana also made for her daughter, and now I’m convinced I need one in my size too. Check out more and Miranda’s review of the book here.
