Today Sabra did a modification to the Bookworm Button up that I’ve been thinking about for a while – and now that she has, I just HAVE to make one! Read on…
I’m so excited about what I have to show you today for my Blank Slate Patterns Sewing Team post! It’s something I’ve been thinking about sewing since I first saw the Bookworm Button Up over a year ago. Read all of the details here.

Love it! I’m sharing the Prepster Pullover next week, and I thought about making it into a shirt dress, too! I didn’t have enough of the fabric I was using, or else I would have done the same. Btw, love the fabric you used. Is it chambray, and where did you buy it?

Veronica, thanks! The fabric is chambrey, from Jo-Ann. I found this in the remnant bin, and couldn’t find any more of it on the shelves anywhere. That’s why Ivy got it; I can’t make anything for me out of 7/8 yard 🙂

Adorable! I was also thinking of using the Bookworm or the Hipster Henley as the basis for as shirtdress for my daughter. Although mine is really into twirly skirts right now, so I’d probably Frankenpattern one of those two patterns with the skirt from the Fiesta Frock.

Thank you! A mash up would be darling. You need to do it!
