A-dorable! I love seeing variations on patterns. This version is totally my style. And now I want that pattern!
Erin
Thanks! I’m so glad you like my version! 🙂
Gloria
Your version is perfect! I bypassed the pattern on the Blank Slate website, not having the vision that you had of the pattern. Well done!
When you extended the length, did you extend the entire curved panel 3″? I’m 5’11” and always need to lengthen everything. Like you, I preder that tunic tops cover a little extra in the back.
Thanks for posting!
Erin
Aw, thanks so much, Gloria! I extended the curved panels and the back bodice piece at the lengthen/shorten lines on the pattern. I’m 5’2 for reference, so you might want to lengthen more than 3 inches. 🙂

Erin, your version is really nice! And that quilted knit SELLS it! I think I find the solid colour is more attractive to me than Melly’s colorblock versions. Great work tho!
Erin
Thanks, Abigail! I’m seriously obsessed with this fabric! I want quilted knit EVERYTHING now! 🙂
Alida Lee
I love your version so much! The length is so flattering and the lack of cuffs makes it so clean. Great job!
Autumn
beautiful!
Erin
Thanks Autumn! 🙂

i agree as we get older no need to show off the backend and the front …so glad to see just what i have been looking for and so many don’t understand ….thank you again…

Erin this is gorgeous. I am trying this pattern for the first time this week but I don’t have the rib knit called for. Did you just use crosswise strips of your fabric instead? (Specifically it’s the neckline / scoop hem I’m taking about). Thanks in advance!!

Ooooooooh!!! LOVE it!!!!! The change of fabric gives the top a whole new look!!! LOVE LOVE LOVE it!!! I checked out your blog on how to make the bag and I am so inspired to give that a try! It is perfect timing because my aunt just made a cute crocheted bag for my son but I wanted to make a lining to go inside it. Melly Sews I love your blog and your coordination with other bloggers!!! THE place to go for all things sewing!!!
