Today Teresa is sharing a beautiful version of the Marigold…in every instance I’ve seen of this pattern, the fabric just makes the look! Be sure to check out her lovely finishing too.
Hey all! And happy new year! Teresa here from Dandelion Drift to show you a new wardrobe staple I made with Melissa’s pattern! Click here to find out more.

I really like this. Inspires me to make one for myself! Love the french seams, I like things to look good on the inside too.

Great job I love it!!! Wonderful choice in fabric, thank you for sharing 🙂

I absolutely love this! I may need to purchase this pattern now. I’m always admiring this style of top, but it’s near impossible to fit my body type in rtw. I’m very small on top with a long torso. I don’t need to be showing off my mid drift, especially after having 3 kids!

Thanks so much for all all of your efforts… you are greatly appreciated! My family and I live waaaaaaay out in the rural countryside/we lead a self reliant lifestyle, growing a very large garden, raising most of our own food (dairy goats, fiber critters, chickens & etc)…. Currently our 14 year old “tomboy daughter” has been “getting more n more into clothes/fashion”. Up until maybe 2 years ago I made most all of her clothes (she’s growing much too fast now/can’t keep up with all that we do on our backwoods farm lol). Wanted to let you know that “when we have our special quiet mother daughter time”, that we enjoy your site/postings together! Thanks, and sorry for not saying much! haha Hope to do better in the future : ) Sincerely, M

PS – Almost forgot…. We sew on an old 1908 Singer treadle, plus also have a Singer Rocketeer! Found an old rusted up 1800’s era treadle daughter fell in love with, which was rusted in place/not moving. Loosened it up/broke rust loose (yay) and are currently focusing on cleaning it up so it can sew properly via foot pedal. Once she gets going, we’ll have to share some of her creations…. thanks for the inspiration! : )

This piece is quite a “minimalist beauty”… I haven’t made anything for myself in ages, maybe it’s about time I spoil myself instead of everyone else in my family! ha,ha,ha
