Raise you hand if you’ve ever struggled with what to do with buttons, snaps, and other small things you need to store in your sewing room? Me, me, me! So today I’m going to show you how to sew storage in the form of these easy vinyl tubes. You can make them in any size you want, but I’ve listed my dimensions below.
Cut out your pieces.
Stitch right sides together at the red line.
When you fold the corners up, make sure to center the seam, folding the seam allowance to one side.
Hemming works easier if you put the presser foot inside the tube as you stitch.
Fill your tubes with buttons, snaps, or whatever you’d like.
