That, y’all, is the sum total of my KCW accomplishments yesterday. Four pairs of Clean Slate Shorts cut out.
I’m keeping it real this time around – I set a 1 hour timer. With being gone Thursday-Sunday last week and other work I have, I am limiting my sewing to just the one hour. I am not superwoman.
But hey, anyone want to place bets on how many of these I can sew tomorrow in my one hour? I’ve skipped welt pockets, but will be doing flys and front pockets and patch pockets in the back. But one pair already has the patch pockets (jeans upcycle) and one pair is already hemmed (another jeans upcycle) so that should help, right?
So, 1, 2, 3 or all 4? What do you think?
Martha
I think in one hour all four piles will be four pairs of shorts!!:) cute shorts:)

“keeping it real!” LOL! I only did cutting last night too and STILL ended up being up until 3 a.m.! Since you will be the Sew-Vivor Champion, I will probably go with what Martha said and say all 4 but my gut instinct was 3! Can’t wait to see the shorts put together & what you pair with them!

I’m sure you can sew all of them!!!

If you are going to do a really professional well finished, press as you go and ready to wear I’d say 2. If you speed sew, without pressing, slap them together, then yea, I’d say 4. Let me just say, I could not do all 4 really well. But I could slap 4 together that I would not be proud of having made. I’m not accomplished enough to do that. Go for it, lets see what you got. (said lovingly, of course.)

The only reason I have one finished pair of pants is because I started them over the weekend. I spent last night cutting out a dress for my niece. And I only had an hour last night with everything else going on (work, a rambunctious almost 3 year old, party planning, and dinner to get on the table). As long as I have any momentum I think it’s a win!

I would only have one done, maybe, so I have no idea what you could do!
