Yay! If you’ve been sewing along all week, today’s the day you can show off your blazer!
Did you miss any of this Berkshire Blazer sewalong? Here are the posts:
- Day 1 Suit fabrics
- Day 2 Shawl Collars
- Day 3 Set in Sleeves
- Day 4 Buttonholes
Now as I mentioned earlier this week, my boys are in a wedding – in fact they’re dual ring bearers. So since Tater already had the black blazer from this look, and since the bride wasn’t super picky about what they wore, I stitched up a matching blazer for Bean and then some Trendy Tuxedo Pants and some bow ties in the wedding colors. So here’s my show and share – the boys in their wedding finery. I think they’re going to be cute ringbearers.
A note on the photo location in case you’re not from Texas. These are bluebonnets, our state flower. And if you live in Texas, you go take bluebonnet photos every spring. It’s just what you do, and we’re fortunately having a great year for bluebonnets. If you’re from Texas, fist bump because I know you get it.
Make sure to share your blazers in the Facebook group, or if you’re not a Facebooker, feel free to share in the Flickr group instead. Can’t wait to see what you sewed!
