KCWC Fall 2012 – Day 3 – Three Shirts

Three Raw Edged Raglans for Tater. Without the raw edges. I prefer to sew them this way so I don’t have to worry about my seams so much. Knits are very forgiving but exposed seams are not.
This is definitely my favorite pattern from Sewing for Boys. I love how fast these come together once I decide what fabric combination I want to use. I did add chest pockets to all three, using the pocket piece from my Vintage V-Neck

So my progress on my original list is as follows.
For Tater:

  • Tigger costume
  • 3 long sleeve Raglan t-shirts
  • 1 long sleeve Hipster Henley (almost done)
  • 1 New pattern that I’m not talking about yet

For Bean

  • Raincoat
  • 1 long sleeve Raglan t-shirt
  • 1 Cool Cardigan (will blog tomorrow when I get a picture of it)
I know it’s super ambitious, but I really want to get through the rest of my list tomorrow so I can start drafting some new patterns.

How is everyone else doing?

I love that raw-edged raglan, too.

I’m going to have to get my hands on your blank slate patterns -so cute!
