I pulled out my Market Shirt pattern again – still tweaking it to decide if I want to turn it into a pattern for sale. I had the Lisette Cotton Lawn – I’m addicted to the stuff – I think I have at least a yard of every pattern they carry at Joann.
I originally intended to use a pink solid for the placket/edging, but I didn’t like any of the pinks I had and I am not allowed to go to the fabric store for a couple weeks due to the fabric spree I went on when I found out I won a chance to compete on Project Run and Play. Luckily I have a pretty big stash, and in it were just a few scraps of this kiwi Kona cotton. The two colors together remind me of watermelon, but they’re also super fresh and spring like.

I love this top! The style looks very flattering. I hope that you do make it into a pattern for sale.
i totally love this shirt!! On you it looks great! On me… I’d have to see… I love the watermelon colors too!
oh yes i would love the pattern, its really cute but also (most importantly for me right now) it looks like a wonderful top for breastfeeding/nursing!
What a fun top! Love the green accents and the picture of your rose. Congrats on making it to pr&p.
PS I like this version a little bit better than the first. Maybe it’s the smaller placket? I’d love to buy this pattern!!
Very pretty! Love the color contrast.
I love the color combo, and the pattern is lovely too! Please turn it into a pattern! <3
