I have two brothers, and we have had 3 additions to the family since the last time we took extended family portraits. So yesterday, since we were all together, we set up a makeshift photo studio in Mom & Dad’s study and took pictures of each family and of all 12 of us together.
I made shirts and pants and blazers for my boys (but they didn’t wear the blazers) a shirt for my nephew and a dress for my niece.
Here’s the dress
It’s the same silver satin I used in my Cutwork Dress Refashion, but on my dress I put it wrong side out. This is the right side. I embroidered the snowflakes on it (they coordinated with the shirts I made the boys) and added a couple layers of tulle peaking out the bottom. And long sleeves – why on earth they make so many baby girl holiday dresses with short sleeves is beyond me.
And here is my adorable niece in the dress, being held by my brother.
And when she tired out
It’s a very poufy dress, and she’s a very tiny girl. I love those sweet long fingers peeking out of the gathered cuffs.
