So here’s what these lace butterflies from my Flock of Butterflies were for
A pretty mobile for my soon to be born niece!
I started with this mobile – I bought it on clearance when Tater was in utero, then swapped the boring shapes it came with for bright and cute Ikea mini animals
I cut the animals free for Tater and Bean to play with, then stripped the blue fabric tubes off the mobile.
I sewed tubes out of purple fabric and made them twice as long, so they’d ruffle up more. Then I strung white thread through my lace butterflies, and sewed them right onto the new fabric covers. And then I delivered this late baby shower gift to my sister in law.
Can’t wait to meet you baby girl!
