This was re-purposed from part of a large men’s shirt (the orange) and some gray knit I had in my scrap stash; the other part of the orange went to make Tater’s shirt. I love it – 2 kids shirts out of one men’s shirt!
I’m still fiddling with the pattern – I want it to look more sleeveless and less cap-sleeved like it does now. Also, I think Tater’s came out cuter (his is an owl, I promise pictures soon!) I’m pretty sure I figured out how to alter the pattern, now I just need to find more shirts to repurpose to test it on.
